Rumble Bees Acquire FPHL Veteran Shea Carey

Battle Creek, MI –

Today the Rumble Bees announce the acquisition of forward Shea Carey from the Columbus River Dragons.  Carey was picked up by Columbus this off season from the Port Huron Prowlers in the expansion draft.  The Rumble Bees were looking to add some veteran leadership to go along with the good number of rookies they have recently signed.  Shea comes to the team with 4 years of FPHL experience totaling 105 games and turned pro back in 2010.  GM Adam Stio weighed in on the move, “Shea is a good pro that brings consistency and leadership that we need in our room right now.  He’ll help Clint teach the younger guys and show everyone how it’s done on the ice.”
